Brillant de Luxe (Gen 2 - Updated)

Its is the correct spelling of the brand.
They were made from the 60's to the early 80's. They are TTO one piece razors. The topcap and adjusting plate are chrome plated (I have no idea whats under the chrome) and the adjustment/tto knob is aluminium. The rest of the razor is plastic. Its has the same sort of lather channels that the Erfa/Progress (see the insert in the fifth picture below) has but has holes in the bottom.
The handle is great. It has ridges moulded into it and is extremely non-slip without been aggressive.
The TTO knob has a dial numbered 0 to 3 and really just opens and closes the doors. The middle plate is spring loaded so it keeps the blade under tension against the doors - So simple yet effective.

The case that has the gold writing holds the one with the early Gen-2 and the one with the silver text is the case for this one. The case has "BRILLANT deLuxe" embossed on it.

They must have also manufactured blades in the same factory or one close by because the tuck of blades that came with the silver version has EISFELD printed on them.

How does it shave?
This is not a BBS shaver. The adjustment mechanism is limited to one turn and even at it's maximum its mild.
I find that it needs a sharper blade and then I end up with a DFS.
