OliWorks Classic Steel
This is another Gibbs Homage razor
It turns out that the guys that run OliWorks have a machine shop and manufactured the first Ambassador's for Razor Emphorium , so as can be expected its well made. This came out during an arguement on a shaving forum and Jorge at Oliworks offered the first 10 people who commented a free razor - this is one of those.
The razor itself is "Stone Washed". Its a differential head, the one safety bar is scalloped and the other bar is solid. From a collectors perspectice its great but from a users point - I would prefer them to be the same.
People of the forums complained about alignment issues - mine has none.
The bottom line is that this is a very well made razor at a very low price - Big kudos to OliWorks for doing this.

How does it shave?
There is some blade feel but certainly not excessive.
A few of the Gibbs style razors in Stainless Steel seem to have some drag, this has very little and glides pretty easily.
I found that I preferred the scalloped side, its slightly more efficient. It also has a bit extra blade feel.
In short - This is an excellent shaver at a very affordable price point.

The Unboxing
It took about 3 weeks to do the 10 000km journey.
It was very well packaged and arrived "safe and sound". Big thanks to Jorge from OliWorks.
The artwork is awesome - IMHO.
