These were produced from about 1980 to about 1982, so completely during the Warner-Lambert era.
The handle was redesigned. The shape and dimensions remained the same and it stayed grey in color but they did away with the metallic insert on the top of the handle and stippled the recess. The dial insert remained the same. This only came with the "Protector" function. In the later and last version they put the word Schick on the head.
The Protector is an ingenious lever which just pushes the guard upwards. Other than a travel razor, I don't see any reason for it but I do like it. IMHO - It's too long to be a travel razor.
