Kabrand

The Kabrand is probably the most well known razor that utilises the "Hudes" style of tilting - it both tilts and rotates diagonally forward. I measure the blade gap at a HUGE 3.1mm. When they are in slant mode they are effectively SE razors.
The center post of the top cap has a pivot point and you loosen the handle, move the head and retighten. This pivot point is their weak point and they are well known to break here. They are made of zamak and the plating was questionable and when you find them they generally have some plate loss.
The knurling on the handle is superb.
This one came in the leather pouch, but I am missing the blade bank.

Kabrand was a French brand and were around from the early 1920's to mid to late 1940's.

How does it shave?
Its Wild. Its the most aggressive vintage razor and certainly ranks in the top 5 aggressive razors in my collection. I've found that I prefer to use it in normal mode.
