Oblyc No 2

An online search has brought up nothing useful about this razor.

On the underside of the base plate it has:
OBLYC   NO2   BCE S.G.D.G - on the top and
99   UNIS FRANCE   11 - on the bottom, so we know that it was manufactured in France.
The word UNIS is an acronym derived from - Union Nationale Inter-Syndicale which was a French committee/body that ensured that the quality of goods were of a high standard.

The tilt is adjustable as can be see in the first picture on the third row.
Like the Volcanic, it has a stud through the head that swivels. That in turn goes through the base-plate which has a half-spherical section that allows you to tighten the handle up. The first image in the third row below shows the head at its one extreme which is about ± 20°.
Unlike the Volcanic it is an Open Comb.

How does it shave?
It shaves like a Gillette Old Type, so is pretty efficient with that little bit of blade feel.
It has the added benefit of it tilting, not that I think that it makes much, if any difference to the shave.
