The Pearl Flexi Open Comb was introduced in early May 2023. It also uses the "Gibbs" adjustment system and of course takes non-modified blades.
The handle is Loctited to the head and there is a compression spring holding the twist-knob and handle together making it a two piece. The literature says that its CNC machined from brass.
The numbers and markings on the underside of the base plate are laser engraved and the indicator is a small hole that has been paint-filled.
The "knurling" on the handle has been redesigned and is extremely grippy. The pattern looks great.
It also comes with it's own stand like it's Solid Bar sibling and it is in fact the same stand.
After my first shave, I found that my handle was loose so I dismantled it, took a picture of it and re-assembled it with new Loktite. It now overclocks to 4 (so effectively 10).

How does it shave?
I ❤ this razor.
Low down it's a medium shaver and in the overclock zone - it's Wild and super effecient
For an everyday shave, somewhere between 2,5 and 4 is where I'm comfortable with it. Below that, its a great weekend shaver.
On the other end above 7, its capable of a 1-Pass BBS so long as you have mapped your beard. You do need to pay attention at these settings because it will bite you if you give it a chance.
Like its Soild Bar Team Mate - it is also a heavy razor.

The Unboxing
My Pearl Flexi Open Comb arrived on 22^nd May 2023. The following images are of the unboxing.
It's great looking packaging. When it arrived, it was a box within a box. The space between the boxes was filled with padding, so minimizing the risk of damage to the inner box.
Included in the package is the Razor and Stand, "care" instructions booklet, a card with the warranty instructions, a "Thank You" card, a soft cloth and five x "10 + 1" tucks of Willys blades. All in all - its great value for money.
